Jack T. Scully

He co-founded Micro Apps Group Inventions (MAGI) to develop mobile computing solutions for the Internet of Things (IoT).
He is a strategic thinker, author, inventor, and entrepreneur with more than 25-years leadership in high-tech industries. Prior to launching MAGI, he co-founded Vermont’s Ascension Technology Corporation, acting first as its marketing vice president and later its managing director. During his tenure, the company grew from a two-man startup to a professional 3D sensor company with over 20,000 tracking devices sold into global markets. In 2012, he spearheaded Ascension’s acquisition by a Fortune 1000 company, Roper Technologies, to improve its position in emerging medical markets.
A graduate of St. Michael’s College in Vermont, he holds a MBA from the University of Utah.
Lee Bryan
COO
He is an organizational development specialist with twenty-five years experience leading product-development teams. He is a master of value stream analysis and the strategic implementation of organizational improvement initiatives.
During his professional career, he has acted as an engineering and new product development manager, as well as a strategic business adviser for Fortune 500 clients, including IBM, General Dynamics, and GE Healthcare.
He is well known in industry as an efficiency expert, who has championed lean engineering principles and stage-gate project management techniques to improve productivity, bottom line earnings, and product development cycles.
He holds a B.Sc. Biotechnology, University of Sunderland, UK.
Trish Scott
CFO
She is the former Chief Executive Officer of Internav Inc., a medical technology development company. Her financial and accounting expertise includes automated accounting systems, sales forecasting, and financial analysis. She possesses strong operational skills including proposal and program management; complex contract negotiations; and drafting of technology licensing agreements.
In her previous position as Strategic Marketing Manager at Ascension Technology Corporation, she helped position the company for acquisition by conducting market research, forecasting sales revenues, and developing strategic business relationships.
She is a graduate of the Women’s Small Business Project, Trinity College, Burlington, VT.
Mark Schneider
VP, Research & Development
He is responsible for the system engineering of MAGI projects.
In the course of his 43-year career, he has played an influential role in the conceptualization, design, and development of multiple three-dimensional magnetic and RF tracking technologies for interfacing human motions with computer operations. Six patents on electromagnetic and RF tracking have been issued in his name. He has also developed a unique optical tracking device, prominently employed in military simulators.
The co-author of three patents on personal safety, he also developed the key technologies behind them.
He holds a degree in Biomedical Engineering from RPI and a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Vermont.
Vlad Kogan
VP Software Development
He is responsible for the design of software solutions, enabling multiple wireless devices to communicate with smartphones and remote networks.
During his 30-year career at high-tech companies in the United States, he has developed software programs for real-time three-dimensional position and orientation measurement devices used in virtual reality, military aircraft, and medical imaging systems. He has also developed tracking and calibration algorithms for numerous ultrasonic, electromagnetic, optical, and inertial motion-tracking systems.
He holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Novosibirsk Technical University, Novosibirsk, Russia.
H. Jay Spiegel
IP Counsel
He is a patent and trade secret expert, well known in the world of intellectual property for over 47 years.
Unique among intellectual property law attorneys, Jay has extensive experience in all aspects of patent law. He was an assistant and primary examiner in the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office for eight years (1974–1982); in private IP practice since 1982; and the named inventor in over 40 patents. Several of his inventions have reached market, including the football kicking tees currently used in every NFL game.
A graduate of Cornell College of Engineering, he received a Juris Doctor Degree from George Mason University School of Law.
